well so far from the last pic the upgrades done are

new bumper
Door panels and roof redone
New paint job
and installed webber

next:
heeders
instal a tach never seen the original worked
back right red light

no more needed

heres my 80' p/u it has a 20r bottom with a 22r top with a holley TBI fuel injection setup. L52 tranny, Marlin crawler dual ultimate setup, 5.29 front and rear with a spool in the rear and LSD in the front. has disk brakes in the rear. the bed is bobbed. and too much other mods to list....

You guys make me really wish mine was 4wd, but what can I do. Here is a pic of my truck anyways.

Mine is 2wd also but, My Grandpa bought it new in 83 and I grew up in it farming. It was recently handed down to me and I work on it every chance I get. I will never let it go not even for a million.

yea i got them like a year ago.. but my rig is towed everywhere.. love them cause they work great in the sand and on hard rock.. i see a lot of people turning the front pair backwords for better traction...

Here is my 1981 sr5. I bought it last june for $350. All it needed was tires. If things go right it'll be getting a downey clutch and header this winter.

awww man, idk what it is about stock old paint trucks..i love um, i love the hunt for 1st gens, everyone i have seen in my immediate area i have bought so far lol, sweeet deal for only $350!

the bed has a few rust holes here and there but nothing to get upset about. the cab seems pretty good. i havn't pulled up any carpet for fear of what i might find.

more likely than not, the floor is going to have issues, check the frame, then check it again, and once more, frame rot on these trucks can hid itself but for 350, who cares! dang i wish i can find another one for under 500..dang
