Rear block lift work with ubolt flipkit?

Im going to do a U-BOLT flip kit on my 88 4runner. Willi still be able to use my lift blocks in the rear? I figured i could, but someone told me it woudlnt work....

Pretty much everywhere I've read about lift blocks in the rear everyone says it's just a bad idea. I have no experience with it but have yet to run into anyone defending them.

lift blocks suck and cuase axlewrap also can spit out... seriously welding them is the only way nayone should ever use a lift block... the best idea is to get proper lift springs, or at the least an add a leaf and some shackles....

i know many people that do it. They say if it isnt over 4 inchs its fine. They check the bolts every time they wash the truck and have had no problems.

Well... "fine" and doing it right are two different things... People say that welding up a couple of steering arms is "fine" as well - that doesn't make them right either...

Yes, you can use a flip kit with blocks, but you'll need new u-bolts, as I don't know of any vendor today that supplies the uber-long ubolts required for use with u-bolts.
