Radiator Cap keeps leakin despite replacement

First time caller long time listener. I am a bit flummoxed on this particular issue and could use a bit of insight. I keep replacing the radiator cap on my 93 toyo pickup 2.4L 22 RE and after a bit of driving the cap leaks around the top. I have replaced the cap twice and this issue still occurs. Fluid is clear and was recently flushed. I am starting to suspect something about the overflow lines, tank, cap etc. I included some pictures which don’t show the actual leaking but may have use.

Anyone have this issue ?

Maybe try a Toyota part instead of the parts store universal?

I agree, as long as the Toyota radiator caps fit the aftermarket radiator.

A few people on here have had problems with the red lever universal radiator caps.

My 92 22RE has an Advance Auto CarQuest radiator cap that's been working fine for about four years now on a CarQuest Spectra Premium radiator.

The plastic radiator could have a hair line crack.

That’s a good call I will order a Toyota cap and come back with the results.

I hope it’s not cracked, but I will check for that as well.

I use the factory Toyota cap on a CSF 2306 (three core) radiator and it works fine. Or "Stant 10227 Radiator Cap - 13 PSI"

We kind of skipped over a few steps in the process here didn't we..

who what where...

Are we talking like leaks puddles, venting pressure, or ?

After driving some where it starts trickling coolant out of the top around the cap. Not a ton there’s still some in the reservoir but the reservoir is down.
