I bought a cap and discovered that my old radiator cap was a 16 and the right one for my truck is a 13. I dont think it removed the heating problem. Made one trip since I put it on and it seemed to get hotter faster. I am not sure why a cap would make a difference in heating. I still havent found the bolt to remove the air filter housing to remove the thermostat. Should the different caps make a difference in the cooling/heating of the radiator?
