I was thinking about printing replica decals for older toyota restorations. This is somewhat year specific, but spans '79-'87. The little yellow or white decals on some things under the hood such as the sticker on the air cleaner, under the hood showing each year's emissions system type, the labels on the radiator cap and reservoir, and others. Does anyone think there are a few they'd like to have made? I nerd out about the details sometimes, even though my truck is nowhere near showroom quality. [/URL]

Im in as well. I dont have a picture sadly, but could you make a replica decal for the fuse box on a 1990 4unner?

 

I'll need good clean straight-on shots of all the stickers I can get my hands on to start sharpening them up in photoshop and getting them printed on the right color of vinyl. I have a good screenprinter friend who can print on vinyl. Good photographs can be e-mailed to zombieautomaton@gmail.com in full size and once I've got a good handful of stickers I can get the printing started. Be sure to include the actual size measurements of the decal so we can get them the right size.

 

That one on the glove box and the emissions decal under the hood, as well as the air cleaner and other under-hood decals are top priority for my rig.

Please spread the word and take good photos, or remove with hairdryer and scan if possible. I'll be trying my best to do that with the few I have under my hood. Hoping to fill an 8.5x11" sheet and get to printing ASAP.

 

I wanted to start replicating decals for my truck but just haven't had the time. I will try to take good pictures of the few really good decals I have and post them soon.

 

Excellent. I look forward to your e-mailed photos. I'll talk to the printer and make sure he can get the level of detail we need. I know he's got the technology, the shifting instructions look to have been printed on standard vinyl sticker stock and vinyl ink. Some of the warning stickers on the coolant reservoir look like the clear laminated cheap full-color stickers of modern times, but the under hood emissions decals are also vinyl stock and ink. Should be fairly simple.

 

Does anyone know where i can get a 86 toyota pickup grille sticker.
