Hi I am assembling a 4.7 gear drive case to put into my '95 V-6 Runner.

I am changing out some of the ball bearings in it and I'm having some trouble cross referencing and laying hands on the front drive output ball bearing.

I bought a Nachi 6307N bearing, thinking it was correct. 35x80x21 (MM) with snap ring groove. Turns out that the front drive output gear wants a 30x80x21 bearing with snap ring groove.

The old bearing is marked NSK 6307N on its outer race and B30-120 on its inner race. It is actually 30x80x21 with snap ring groove. NOT 35mm like my Nachi 6307N.

If I am not mistaken, the Toyota online catalog (Lakeland Toyota) says the front output bearing part number should be:: 90363-30014

The SKF master catalog crosses this number to 6307NRJ. The online specs I've been able to find indicate that 6307NRJ bearing should have an inside diameter of 35mm???? WTF???

Anybody got any other bearing numbers, or insights that I might use to find to the correct bearing??? Thanks.

 

millball - well, I just checked Marlin crawler and they only sell 2 tcase bearings individually (they do have a full case rebuild kit by the way) the input bearing and a counter shaft bearing, they don't sell the front output bearing individually and their full kit does not mention part numbers.

 

As a follow-up to this thread. B30-120 is the bearing number for the RF1-A transfer case front output shaft bearing.

As an additional point of interest, some transmission parts purveyors call the RF1-A transfer case a W100 transfer case.

 

 

6307 and 6307 C3 are identical bearings, for all intents and purposes. C3 just means that the bearings internal race/ball/race clearances are slightly larger than the same bearing of normal clearances.

This makes such bearings closer to normal clearance when tightly press fitted to shafts. Means nothing in a manual tranny, or transfer case.

I SAY AGAIN::::: The correct bearing for the front driveshaft output is:::::::: B30-120. Every one I have seen, so far has been an NSK Made in JAPAN 30x80x21 MM

They are not so easy to find. I got a couple thru a Tucson tranny parts supply outfit. The 6307's that don't fit can be got dirt -cheap. I had to pay near $60 apiece including shipping charge for the correct B30-120 NSK bearings.

Uh, No. Your number is is for the countershaft bearing.

NOT the front output bearing. NOT.

Your 90363-32006 countershaft bearing is: SKF 63/32 NJ.

The correct R1A front output bearing number is: B30-120 NSK

The 63/32 N type bearing is fairly common and made by numerous makers.

The B30-120 bearing is only made by NSK, so far as I have been able to determine.
