LOL I just like the heading.
I am going to buy complete 3rd members in the next week or 2.
I am not sure what yet.
Yukon ZIP ?
ARB ?
4cyl or 6cly carrier. High pinion?
1985 4runner
4” lift
OM617 turbo diesel
Tire sizes
235/75/15 for plowing snow.
31-33 swmapers
Once and a while 35 on the trails.
So I am going with 4.88 gears.
all prices are with shipping also
and 2 3rd members all 4cly with arb assembled
Marlin $2850.00 with zip and compact compressor
Marlin $3257.00 with ARB and compact
Chassis unlimited $2875.00 arb and compact

I'd say go with zip lockers same thing but cheaper 6cyl is stronger so not a bad choice to go with depending the price difference.

There are vids on YouTube that show the ARB holds up better than the Yukon. If it were me, I would do ARB in the V6 3rd member. And that's what I will be ordering from the Wabbit eventually...:wabbit2:

If your front pinion and or drive shaft angles are not correct the high pinion can correct them. Since your spending the money why not go with the v6? I did only because there plenty of blown up 3.0 4runners and trucks being parted and they can be bought cheap used. The 4cyl are plenty strong but the v6 are stronger.

I don’t wheel hard, but it is a want over need.
I want air lockers.
But I need them when I get into mud or hard trails.
I received a good bonus this year and it will pay for a set of complete 3rds. So I am pulling the trigger
