Talking custom made LED 3rd brake light

Finally got around to completing this little project today. I've been lazily working on it on and off for almost a month now but I finally finished and installed it today.

Probably the only last thing I'll do is pull it back apart and silicone the lens to the housing, but only if I see moister issues.

Looks good, I have been trying to find one that will look good on my topper but they are huge or like 80 bucks, might end up doing more of a marker light or heck that doesn't look to hard but I guess I would need a lense to start out with to convert, either way I'm sure it looks better than it did with the bulbs

What did you use to pop the back light out? I am having issues finding something to fit to pop the claw clips.

There are no clips on the 05+ Tacos. Just the 2 torx screws and the gasket stuck on the light (which can stick to the cab most of the time too and rip apart; mine did but when I reinstalled it it fits back together like a jig-saw puzzle sort of and I haven't had any leak issues)

ah... I forgot that you had a tacoma and that I am running in the 4runner. They made a fatal error by using 5 clips on the 4runner that are a )@(% to get out.

If I can I will be making a video as to how to get it in and out.
