Knuckle leaking

hey all
I picked up this yota last fall and having been fixing up a lot of hack jobs from the PO
I'm new to toyotas but have been 4x4in for several years
After coming home from a lot of hard wheeling @ TDS I noticed one of the birfields puking a decent amount of grease

Since only the driver side had a heavy amount it made me wonder if it was normal or not

PO claimed full rebuild within a year ago upon installing TG dirty 30s, but I am now unsure after seeing this

Nice "pea soup"

Failed axle seal allowing diff fluid and birf grease to mix.

That is your "knuckle" leaking. The birfield is inside of that connected to the axle shaft.

A properly maintained solid front axle, even a wheeled one, should NOT look like that
