85 4runner wont run, turns over fine

Hi,

I have a 1985 4runner that strangley stopped running. 22re w/automatic 186k. i drove to work and back one day and two days later it would not start, it turns over and that is it.

so far, tested voltage at fuel pump and its only getting .3 volts (weird). ran a jumper wire to it off the battery. pump worked just fine.

motor is not getting spark. tested two diff cylinders, and not getting power to or out of coil. ran hot wire to coil pack and fuel pump. engine started but ran very rough.

engine would not rev past 2-3k before sputtering out as if its flooding. check engine light finally came on but assuming its from us bypassing the computer controls but i dont know for sure as i dont how pull a code out of her.

all the fuses appear to be good, engine ran well until this point...thank you for any help/suggestions.

Thanks bro,

I will take a look at that fuse. Im thinking it could also be the Circuit Opening Relay.

Check the Ignition and EFI fuses, my 86 4Runner did the same thing one day, the fuses were good but they had a thin layer or corrosion on them and lost power. I replaced the fuses and all was good and it started right up.

The efi and ignition fuse are behind the driver side kick panel inside the truck. I have no idea what fuse you replaced that was 30.00 dollars.
