Newbie introduction

sold my '87 pickup last Spring, and picked up this beauty for $500.

190K miles, and it runs better than my 80K mile Nissan truck.

still need to sort out some mechanicals on it. like new clutch, axle seals, etc. but otherwise, I love it!

I look forward to fixing it up!

wasted no time taking the top off...

It's just a standard 1970. Got it free from a guy at work who lost a place to store it. Hasn't been driven since 1978 Unfortunately, it spent a good time sitting outdoors, and rust destroyed the heater channels. On a positive note, the engine was removed in 1981...and was sitting underneath a tarp in a heated wood working shop. It still turns over just fine. I would like to fix it up someday....but those damn priorities keep getting in the way
