Its the 2k price tag on the RCV shafts that stopping me. Although I do like the IFS it cant really handle the the weight of the 35s. I have at least 1 bad bal joint ant just about every joint in the steering has some slop in it. Sure I could upgrade it, but id rather just put that money toward solid axle stuff. I carry an entire extra steering assembly just in case. The solid axle is proven reliability with low maintenance. And I still have my IFS 4runner to play with!!

Plus I already have the axle and most of the parts....

Thanks Doitzel, Its my stepdads shop for his business. So much room!

Thanks for the comments! There will be plenty of more IFS wheeling before the SA happens, dont you worry.

Few more:

Next on the list now is get the half doors cut. The doors I picked up have the wing windows which puts the mirror in the middleish of the door. Id like to keep the mirror, so I think Im just going to cut up the stock doors and use the others in the winter (if ever, haha) Plus...the current doors have a few dents in them

It felt alot smoother than it looks

Everyone was sitting while some one changed out a broken driveshaft, So I was just bashing around in the down time.

And took some shots of the front end clearance

Stuffed with the wheel straight. No rubbing.

Wheel turned, just slightly rubs. I can see where the sheet metal needs to be massaged a little more.

The tire isn't actually touching the inner fender, but its close. It too needs a little more messaging.

And the rear working. The shocks are currently limiting the droop, but that will all change when the 63s go in.

I really like your switch location! Hopefully you don't have friends that like to flip switches. . .

Thanks guys! No switch flipping friends yet Haha. Hopefully that's what red cover over the power switch is there to prevent.

Got some new spares and some 15" white waggys to put them on.

Was bashing around the woods this weekend with 4wheelinvt, and started smelling a gas leak. It appears to be a rusted line from above the tank. Ill pull it next weekend and see whats up, and if the tank comes out it will probably end up mounted in the bed.
