Q-logic enclosure tips?

ok ok, i know the first batch of tips will probably be "sell it" or "burn it" but i've heard from some others that it doesnt have to sound so bad - maybe they've less sensitive ears than the others, or maybe they're crazy... who am i to judge?

anyhoo, i picked one up for my 3rd gen ltd for a price that i thought was decent enough to give it a go (gotta love ebay) and i'm gonna start planning the install this week and hopefully get it in this weekend.

is there anyone that likes the sound of their enclosure that is willing to offer tips on getting it to sound good and not rattle?

i'm already considering removing the interior paneling to see if there's anything in there that could rattle.

i'm guessing that the straps/clips in the hidden compartment thingy will need securing and i need to relocate my tow-hitch-electric-harness thingy

is there anything i should use dynamat on?
line with polyfill?

etc etc etc...

any help will be greatly appreciated and a write-up will be posted

thanks
D!

I've always liked mine. Also 1 pound of poly fill stuffing per sq. foot of space goes a long way toward smoothing the response of the speaker.

I bought a box also, I bought a 4 s.f. sheet of stinger road kill and lined it behind the sub box. I have yet to hear it because of stupid stock stereo wiring issues but hopefully in a few days, I'll get to hear it.
