I use it to maintain my weatherstripping on the doors, windows and sunroof. it leaves a smell, but I wash it off day after.
1. Keep the old automatic trans fluid or power steering fluid next time you do a flush
2. the night before washing your truck or car, pour some old ATF on a rag and wipe everything rubber down
3. day after, wash the truck.

I have never once replaced a vacuum hose or weatherstrip from being stiff and brittle, and I have brought 40 year old grommets back to life. trust me on this one and try it

Does it make a good tire dressing? I have been wondering if brake fluid would because my boss has trouble getting tire dressing, but we all want the fleet to look good.
Sugar water works, but tranny fluid sounds easy and more beneficial for the rubber.
