It's been a couple of days since I posted here ALL of the major items are done. We have been driving the rig and trying to get the bugs worked out before we unveil it to the world... muhahhahahahhah At the moment, it's got Flintstone brakes. You know, the kind where you stop faster if you drag your feet? It's also got a bit a steering wobble that makes it scary to drive above about 40 mph. On the first count, ChrisCo ordered a power bleeder system that should help us get the astounding amount of air left in the system so we can rule that out as a cause. It should be here for the weekend. On the second account, I picked up a steering stabilizer and we are going to continue to tweak the alignment to see if we can find a combination that will get me to an alignment shop.

We are taking tonight off, but the webcam should be back up on Thursday evening, then through the weekend until I drive it away

I'll second that! It's a lot better than I'd ever expected from a SFA ('course, my SFA rig is an FJ-40, so that explains a lot )

First thing I did after the swap was drive the half a mile to the nearest shop and have them power bleed the brakes and align the front end. No matter how many times we bled my brakes they would still go to the floor. They will never be as tight as they were before (at least not with the stock MC) but I can lock mine up no problem. An hour later I got back a whole new truck. Drove like hell when I dropped it off...

We ordered a power bleeder system for the shop for half what the shops wanted to do it. Now we are just waiting on delivery...

You are a more patient man than I...

We want it to be able to stop before we go getting it all flexed up... We are working on the brakes now... just got the steering completed and working right

I think you might owe ChrisCo many many nights of babysitting so they can go out and have a good time.

Your truck looks very nice. I was right behind you in the rib line at AZ Rocks 2003.
