I'm gonna have to print that out and show it to my truck, it needs some reassurance and motivation right now.

You know I think I liked it better the other way. Can we still go back?

So did you guys find a solution to the shackles hitting the frame when flexing?

Close up of the ARB remounting would be much appreciated.

Looking sharp and near the finish line.

Do you have two tranny coolers? If not, what is the other thing that looks like one by the radiator? I have been meaning to ask, but just remembered now.

We *did* find a solution to the shackles hitting. We were a bit nose down anyway, so we went with 1" longer shackles and *POOF* instant 45* angle on the shackles at rest

The second cooler was a power steering cooler. For the moment, it is gone. Eventually, I will figure out another place to mount it.

those shackles may get hung up on rocks. they hang LOW. why didnt you sleeve the frame instead of using the shackle hangers?

Sleeving the frame is not really an option with the newer Tacoma's. When they redesigned the frame in 2001 they moved the bend in it to EXACTLY the wrong place. It could be done, but it would require a serious rebuilt/redesign of that frame section. Maybe someday, but we weren't up for it this time around.

I was having overheat problems with the stock rack and pinion and 35's, so I added a cooler. The new system is a bit more efficient, so I am hoping to get by without the cooler until I figure out how to mount it.

Oh wow, I never imagined this could happen, but I suppose it's pretty obvious now considering you're turning a larger and heavier tire.

Haven't managed to get an oil cooler in there have you? LOL

I have not had the need for a secondary oil cooler yet... the stock one does a pretty good job, but if I do, it will go in.

WOW! That looks amazing! Aren't the Tacoma and 4Runner share the same front suspension set up?

Some years of 4Runner's are identical to the Tacoma. I am never sure which.

But, it doesn't matter when you are doing a swap, you cut all that off anyway

ok, thats kind of what it looked like in the pic, but its hard to tell in 2-D. if it ever does start getting hung up, at least you can do all the work with virtually no down time. the truck looks good, cant wait to see some trail pics.
