New section

Scott.475 came up with the idea here for a section that is more "hardcore" than the current Off Road forum.

He noticed on another forum that they had a special section setup just for SAS.

More and more members here are getting into the hardcore side of off roading and really modifying their rigs.

We'd also like to thank Shane for coming up with the name & description of this section.

Very cool But Shane is the mod? Isn't he that two-wheel drive guy? hehehehhe

Be ruthless Shane, no lighted valve stem cap threads in this section!

That's it! I'm banning you from this section!

Besides, my 200-something crawl ratio more than makes up for my lack of a front driveshaft.

I don't mean to be a nay-sayer...but the Offroad/4wd forum has been relatively slow (compared to the other forums). We only get a few threads about SAS'ing...mostly just hyped up by a few current SAS-ers.

Don't get me wrong, there are definitely good intentions here...I just hate to see a section like this with tumble-weeds blowing through it...right? Hopefully this will inspire me to keep this section alive and mod-the-heck out of my truck.

We figure if this section does not compute, we will defragment the posts here back to the Off Road section.

Sounds like a great excuse to do an axle swap on your truck Jim! I'll even help cut the IFS off...

I am betting that as more folks begin to get the hang of this forum and understand what it's about, it might see more activity.

It's a shame it's Hardcore "Mods" though. Were it simply "Harcore", it would cover axle swaps, as well as, roll overs, less "user friendly" runs and the like.

I dunno Rob, they might get confused by that...

...heck, it's not even a word.

I'd settle for "Hardcore Yotas" or something like that.

Don't feel bad...do a Google search on "harcore" and see how many hits you get.

Just a few with "pron" in the same sentence.

Yes, my 31s are so agressive, they wet themselves and shine in anticipation of getting muddy every now & then
