Crystal is nice and I cant wait to make it there soon. Aspecialy with the new backside chair it should be great. Ive got some family friends who also have a cabin up there that you have to take a lift to get to which is cool and means fresh tracks every morning

Most the work on my 4runner has been delayed do to some funds, also I just moved, and the weather around here has been all over the place. So work may seem to be going slow at the moment but its going and ill try to update it as much as I can.
what do you need the ramps for? just put it in 4low and turn the arb on then drive up

You are not the first to tell me this thing is the truck doesnt run yet and I need the trailer to tow it to my buddies shop to use his code reader. im gonna widen and lower hopefully this next weekend. When it does come time to take it to the trails again I will probably just drive up it. I just need the ramps until then

And my seat is in

It took just a bit of time today to finaly weld in the bracket. Its tied into the frame and is very strong.

Plenty of rear leg room

You may think the seat sits a bit far forward maybe but im by no means a tall guy so i fit really comfy exactly how it is. as for any bigger person wanting to drive my truck well Its mine and you cant drive it anyway

Ive got a few different ideas to cover the floor holes I made in order to do this all so youll have to wait and see that

Your friends don't exactly have a "cabin".. more like a bad arse mountain retreat. None of those homes you speak of are that small! Either way, you have a very sweet deal.

The new lift runs from just above the old bus pickup and west of Green Valley chair. In fact, Northway runs higher than G.V. and provides easy access to some seriously fun terrain.

Hey they call it a "cabin" Its a nice place. Ive never been on a sunny day however in all the times ive been. I do still need to hit that new open terrain. I may go to Hood this weekend Anyone else should come out and see my Cousin compete in the US open trying for the Olympics in snowboarding

Good times

Mt. Hood is a no go sadly but Crystal tomorrow I shall be at. Anyone else??? Should be nice sunny day

Work on the truck is going but at a slower pace. I just started a new job with API (Applied Precision) so work has to wait till weekends unless its a small task that requires little daylight. Ill get my truck running again soon at least I hope.

Today I bought some steel and reinforced my trailer ramps which are now 100% done and Ill be widening my axles on my trailer by next weekend and hopefully installing my passenger seat aswell.

Ill try to keep things updated as fast as I can but with the new job and all the updates may not be as fast as they once were. stay tuned because I should have some more updates coming shortly. Thanks goes out to all of you staying up on this build and I assure you Ill get more pics and updates on this build as soon as I do them

When you get it all built I'd love to check it out and droool a lil.. Keep it up and I'm sure you already know but amazing runner you have there man! hell yeah on the snowboarding too... I'm flying to utah/snowbird tommorow morning! Totally thrilled!

I am going to skip skiing this weekend. Freezing level is high today and I cannot justify the expensive of skiing on ice. Now, if it turns out nice and the snow is springy, I'll be very jealous of yah!

Curious, where are you buying your steel?

Everett Steel in Woodinville and Everett. They seem to have good prices and a great selection.

Depending on transmission choice. If you use the toyota tranny you may not have to mod them but Im not sure is the motor pulls the tranny forward or back any to affect the drivelines. If you go with a chevy tranny youll have to mod the flanges to work and the lenghts would need changing.

Im not to familiar with the swap as I havent been involved with onebut I do know the topic is out there and the swap is very common. Do a few searches on it and you should be able to find all the info youll need

As for my build right now... I just widend the axle's on my trailer but ran out of wire to finish welding them up to the trailer. I hope I get paid this week so I can get some this weekend and finish it up. This project is taking forever but SOON I hope to have it back on the trails. if not Ill

anyway back to work
