I can't afford anything like that. I have no connections so it would be even more expensive. Makes me sad thinking about it.
All my 4 wheeler friends that know their stuff and get their hook ups keep it to themselves. Share the wealth! lol.

Anyways... my future runner is looking like it's getting a 2inch lift with 33's. lame! with lame IFS. I wanna straight axle. lol.

I'm on the pity potty! WAH!

NICE 4RUNNER! I love it
Thanks I want bigger tires too the swampers I got "37's:" only measure 33.5 so im kinda pissed about that. the bigger iroks 39's I was told run 38 so at least a bit better.

Youll have to get a bellhousing adapter to mate the two. The tranny doesnt just bolt to a chevy bell.. check out AA advance adapters they sell kits and lots of misc stuff.

As for updates really sorry I dont have some pics up but I have taken a few recently and been working on my truck when I get off work some which BTW is going crazy busy. Im working about 60hrs this week so yeah good money towards the truck lol. I hope to be able and upload some pics and have more updated by the end of the weekend.

More definetly to come

[quote=fillsrunner4;50692252]Heres the build of my 94 4runner. Its been years in the works but is very close to being an unstopable machine on the trails. Dial up be warned because its gonna have alot of pics

Heres what it looked like after the SAS (sorry about some of the pic quality most pics were taken by my phone)

After wheeling it for some time the tired Auto 3.0 had enough.
Sooooooooooo
I bought this (and yes it pissed on me like a new baby

Good looking rig man! And just remember, if your new baby hasn't pissed all over you at one time or another, well then you just haven't been properly christened yet!

It is nice having a clean bottom lol. Only thing I would do different is take it down just a little so I could have more seat room. The tranny tunnel for my rig takes up a good amount of space in the cab so skinny seats up front are a must

could the transfer case be clocked level to the side ????then maybe a flat bottom about 3" lower than what you did or 6", how much would you change it ???? Just anything to get a flat crossmember or pan across the bottom ya know....and how is thed chevy 4.3 working out ????My 3.0 has 250k on it and I will go either buick 3.8 or chevy 4.3 but first the sas, then maybe twin cases. I need to get a vibration figured out first thing though, changer carrier and pinion bearings and that wasnt the problem, bent driveline, or bad wheel bearing maybe...justg have to figure it out....one step at a timg I guess

There is no skidplate made yet for the MC10R10 (atleast im aware of) So i decided to build my own.

I also wanted to make it a very low profile unit so i decided to completly flat belly my entire transmission and t/cases.
It takes alot of cutting so heres the hole i made for it to fit
Front (i actualy trimmed the sides down a bit more while building the tunnel)

Back Also keep in mind this was an auto before

T/Case front output.

With the raise in the transmission especialy on the passenger side stock seats can not be used so i will be buying some new ones shorlty and im thinking about the Mastercraft Sportsman but im still undecided on that. What do those of you who have different seats have and like? I need skinny and low profile so i can mount it high enough on the pass side to clear over the t/case and not have it so tall your head is through the roof
is that gear reduction box stock or aftermarket if its stock what did it come out of?

its an older gear driven front case with an mc10r10 to the v6 chain driven case. Found the gear case for real cheap on craigslist.

You can get clockable adapters but non are truely flat. Just a few degrees. Vibration could also be an out of balanced wheel. Ide say go for the 4.3 over the buick. Very simple cheap motor to work with and great power. I love the power im getting out of my 4.3 but havent gotten to hit the trails to really open it up yet.

So at 180k on the dot my motor let me know it was on its way out so I was thinking about the 5 speed swap while its out and wanted to know more about it. I have an 04 dc sas taco and I don't think I want to raise it like you just swap. Do I still have to cut the center out like you and what about mounting the clutch pedal and so forth. I guess if you could post a more detailed shpeel about it, would be greatly apprectiated. Cuz I have access to the r150 and all the oem parts to go with it.
