Beg to differ the places that thing can go I bet. We actually wheel with a guy who runs 33's. Ive seen him go places you wouldn't even imagine possible. He does have a solid axle and is locked but no cases. It does help alot having the SA but even with just a rear locker the places you could go aren't to far fetched.

BTW when are you gonna get that 3.4 you have put in? Need some help sometime let me know!

Most of all when are you gonna start ???

lol racing season takes up all my damn time.

The 3.4L and the SAS are going into two different rigs, at least thats the plan for now.

I have a spool in the rear of my 87, hopefully it will perform better than that stupid lockright I had

Its all about the cash my friend. And space lol. A one car garage isn't conducive to a fabricating environment. I have a guy who can do the fab on my 4runner, i just need the space and money. But I will be contacting you for sure...cash in them favors lol.

First thing, i need to build up my front axle so its a one day swap. I plan on going Hi-pinion, ARB, stock 4.10's, Hi-steer, bobby longs, and brake upgrade.

lol aint that the truth. If i would stop spending it all on the race car, i might have more of it.

But since my roomate is being a douchebag and moving out, leaving me to pay all the rent, money is once again tight.

Know anyone who wants to live in Arlington? lol

So have you pulled the old motor? BTW - thanks for comming out last weekend, everyone was really stoked to meet you & your buddies - even though your truck was being an ass monkey. I have been thinking about it it really sounded like you skipped a tooth on your timing belt. That or there's something wrong with your fuel pump - in which case the engine swap won't resolve the issue. Phil's old stunt bike didn't throw any codes, and when it did it was the wrong code. Turned out it was the timing belt. It did the same thing your turck is doing, it would run perfect for a little while, and out of no where it would bog out. Well if all else fails, I guess you could always buy a Sammi and wheel it like Hobbie.

ya that little Sami when everywere.

I pulled the motor last night. Took about 1hr. I checked the timing and did a few other tests but couldnt really find anything. Seemed to have a bad fual air ratio as I could control it some with covering the MAF. Ive pretty much had it trying to get it running the way I want. As for fuel pump ive got the MSD one I wanted sitting at home and I should have it in for the new motor as Ive wanted to fix that tank design anyway. Ive got a 4.3 in site that I may be getting in the next week or so I hope. The guys in Omak so its a drive thats for sure but its a good motor that Erics brothers friend has. The guy is out there right now may be coming over here next week so maybe ill see if he cant bring it with him I want it now cause that motor is way simpilar than the 3.4 and should be a very fast swap once I get the parts. Im gonna fab some new motor mounts, maybe tube clip the front a little and I would really like a cage. Lots of work but shouldnt be to bad I wish I didnt have to be at work right now otherwise ide be up there workin on the truck.

I just want to wheel

Like I said in the other post about taking my chevy out all I would need to do is weld the rear and it would be set

Schweet. Smerg a berg at work and they'll have to send you home with unemployment pay. Then you can get your Runner Running.

You made quite an impression on Scott and he said as soon as you're ready to buy a few sticks you're more than welcome to come out to his shop and we'll teach you how to bend some tube.

Ya thats awesome. Everyone out there this weekend was really chill and nice. I will be buying some tube shortly cause I definetly need a cage. Ill have to get his number and check out his shop.

I know he told me that he has 2" and 1.5" dyes. Eric said if we could borrow one he could machine one out to bend some 1.75" I think I want that size for my cage. You should ask him to borrow one or I could call him sometime and get one either way
