Bandit Runner's 3rd gen front bumper build
#83
After ripping the bumper cover off of my Sequoia this past weekend, I'm thinking I need something like that. Nice work! I love the design, it fits very well and doesn't look cheesey. Have you put a winch in it yet?

Well I've already subscribed to this thread and your skib plate build. I am looking forward to seeing your rear bumper build. Also if you're going to be selling you CAD plans so I can build some when I get home.

I am now considering selling the plans for this bumper design. Please see this thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f149.../#post51587799 and post your interest.
Thanks!

Nice bumper. I have a similar front bumper. The pic is a little weak because I took it on a rainy and cloudy day. Two things I noticed were that rocks get kicked up and chip the paint and I can't run with the D-ring clevices on because they bounce around and chip the paint off the bumper.

The bumper looks great. I'm hoping to make one this summer for my 94 Toyota pickup. I saw you cut all the holes to reduce weight, I was wondering if you tested the strength of the bumper at all? I've never used CAD so idk if you can do load tests like in solidworks.
Great work!

Here are some better pics. I designed this bumper and it is very similar to yours. Good design Bandit Runner. Tell me about these rubber washers? How did you make them, etc.? I'd like to make some so I can run with my D-rings as well.
