Bryan, Just laying dormant 'til the cooler weather gets here. Where are you getting the cage done at? Did you get a quote yet? I really need to cage mine but can't decide if I should build or buy.
Build! And you shouldn't need to use DOM...if built right HREW should protect you with similar strength. Finally gonna start on mine so my daughter can go out with me...the bumpers will be next...oh and it looks like we're finally gonna get a better location with a shop and all. Totally stoked about this too. Maybe A/C for next summer??

I would love to build one so that it's exactly what I want, but time is limited these days. Been looking at the 4xInnovations cage. I think that I could buy one, modify it, and still come out close to what it would cost to build my own (taking into account the amount of tubing that I would undoubtably waste).

Congrats on the new shop! Must mean that business is good.

Thanks guys!! I'm totally loving it. I made some quick disconnect door hings too. Since I had 2 sets of doors and each had a full set of hinges.

SO - I can go from this:

to this in less than 5 minutes:

So I was talking with my buddy Nic - we're thinking about going to Sycamore Saturday for a while then maybe go over to Butcher Jones for a dip in the lake. Anyone interested? Let me know!

Always been a fan of the softopper Jeff, so my opinion is: It's good!

As to wheeling with you n Nic, I'm in...when and where do we meet? This will also give me an opportunity to apologize to the both of you for being a bit of a douche and not returning your call. So...may I join you?

Dude, don't even sweat it! It happens to the best of us. It would be great to go wheelin with you again - you are always welcome on any run we put together.

Not sure about a meet up place and time, but I'm thinking we would meet at the trailhead right at Bush highway and the 87 around 10-10:30ish. I'll know more tomorrow after I have a chance to talk with Nic about it. I can give you a call when we have a solid plan - if you'll answer

Just thought I'd say hey. I live in the North part of Phoenix. I've been working up a 91 3.0, 5 spd, 4.56 gears, CB, Ham radio (KF7AJU). Here is where the build is at right now.

Erin and Sally usually come along

Still have a winch to mount, lights on the bumper, locker to install. My names Dave and I'm usually up for wheeling somewhere.

Welcome, Dave! Now that the weather is cooling keep checking here for runs. I'm on the North side as well and typically do Sunday runs. Rig looks good!
