Trail Ride Sat 8/4?
Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anyone was interested in wheeling this upcoming weekend? Still trying to decide which trail. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to make suggestions. We have two trucks so far.

Wheeling this weekend
Yeah, I was thinking the rain would cool things off. Sorry guys, I guess I am crazy, haha.
As far as trails go, I was thinking something up north (but not too far) like Smiley Rock or Payette Draw. Nothing too hardcore, just to take the trucks out and meet people from YotaTech. Let me know if any of you have any ideas.

Was up crown king a week ago and more has been tamed. the rock step right before the most difficult obstacle with a bypass is gone...blown out. the run with the deep V is also filled in from the rain. kinda boring now. a stock truck can get to the top the back way now with no problems.

Wow where is everyone?
Alright need some advice out there got everything going again (thank you zuk) went out to azfjs sedonafest and lost my brakes almost took out a jeep in sedona!!!!! I put a new mc on and still had no pedal so I unhooked vacum line to booster and had brakes again (very hard pedal) so I made it back home. Question is I need to replace booster now so should I stay stock (single diaphram) or go daul and bigger master?

My simpleton opinion: Brakes are important, upgrade whenever possible. If you have to replace parts anyway, you might as well go dual diaphram and V6 MC to get some badass brakes. I assume you already have the vented rotors anyway.

Yea I got the vented rotors daul diaphram no brainer also I have been reading about using a mc out of a landcruiser with a bigger bore ? Mmmmmmm or maybe just get the v6 mc mmmmmm eitheir way it will be better than what I have now.
By the way how the hell r you haven't heard from you in awhile, after. I get the brake thing figured out it goes in for a full cage tops coming off and cage from front bumper to rear I have came close to rolling a couple of times so she's going under the knife also going to take out the body lift while the cage is going in:-) I got the elocker in the rear done along with t case rebuild and a new turbo clutch also working great just need to stop now!!!!!!!!

You should go with both the dual diaphragm and larger bore m/c...not one or the other. They are designed to work with each other. The bigger booster alone will give you a soft pedal (overboosted) and the other way around will give you a hard pedal (not enough boost for the increased m/c area).
Did you bench bleed the m/c?
EDIT - Usually a failed booster gives a hard pedal. A torn diaphragm feels just like removing the vacuum line. I think its something else.
Oh yeah - if you are going to get a dual diaphragm booster, an OE junkyard version (even with the risk of age) is better than a new reman. $40 too!

Bob, I was typing out a smart ass response for you being the first to spell dyafram correctly, but then you used "evan" in your edit, so I decided to let it slide.
Bryan, Just laying dormant 'til the cooler weather gets here. Where are you getting the cage done at? Did you get a quote yet? I really need to cage mine but can't decide if I should build or buy.

The cage is geting done at gruion customs I am doing custom glass work for a couple of cars in exchange for the cage work one is a 48 caddy with a chop top the other isa brand new scion iq custom for toyota it also has a custom chop top along with countless other mods,ib guess toyota has deep pockets (duh) the runner is going to be a over the top prototype to show what all can be done we are going to run tube from front bumper to rear basically a bugie with abody then next year start on linking it . Hopefully it will be awesome.

And yes I bench bleed the m/c and still no pedal but when I take off the vaccum to booster I have pedal(very hard pedal) evrything I have read says that when booster is bad you have hard pedal but when the booster wsent bad on the 90 I could hear it sucking and no pedal. Beats the crap out of me I'll just get new booster and larger m/c and flush lines real good.

Deathtrap- thanks for the invite.
As for wheeling anytime soon, i think the end of september should be fairly cool again. Me and the gf go to four peaks area to hit a few trails, but nothing too crazy yet. I just bought a prerunner style roof rack and am drawing up plans for a storage/sleeping area in the rear of my rig. Getting her ready for the cool weather camping trips.
