Thanks for looking ill cheak it out, im actually thinking of doing the 3rz theres tons of write ups on them and i think overall its just a easyer swap. I actually found a 3rz on CL for 500 w/ trans but its missing tons of important parts for the swap. I just ordered a bearing for my rod yesterday im just gonna try and throw one in to buy me some time.

My truck was driving funny on Friday so Saturday I noticed the Idler Arm was jacked up so I replaced that, then I found an inner tie rod so I did that too. Then I took it to Ted's today for him to give it a once over - and I spent pretty much the entire day over there. We did both upper ball joints, both outer tie rods, lubed the entire truck, craked the t-bars a bit to even out the front - he even tweaked the allignment so I could drive it home - and it drove amazing, the best its been in a very long time; just need to get it alligned now life should be good!

I was thinking on the drive home that the truck now drives better than my Solara does!

I can't thank you enough Ted for everything today - I couldn't/wouldn't have been able to get all that done with out you. I really really appreciate it!!

I think its time to get Roni's rig up to date too - I see another wrenchin day ahead of us - as soon as everyones schedule permits; hopefully sooner than later before it gets insanely hot!

AAWWW...Shucks Jeff...Thanks for the kudos<--(is that heterosexualy acceptable?) Anyhow, totaly happy to help a friend out...but it was a team effort. And another wrenching day is ALWAYS welcome...especially if it's for the ASSYRIANROCKER. (HINT..HINT) Yeah....I think we need to wrench on his ride too. I'm pretty sure I can fix it, cause I got tools... Glad you were able to join the family for dinner too Jeff.

Well, I finally finished changing the oil in my sisters vehicle, cleaned the garage up from the day and finally took a shower after laying the right side of my head in an oil puddle from the afore mentioned oil change ...went the whole day pushing, pressing and playing with cotter pins, pickle forks, the BFH only to be out done by a small puddle of oil...crap! I was almost there. But all in all, a good day...

If you are opening this up to everyone - I'll ask my friend Bill if he wants to lead us out there, he knows that area like no one else. I'll call him tonite and see - but pending something coming up, I'm in!

Front Bumper....

Jeff- This is the front bumper I was telling you about. I found it over on Pirate 4x4 wire and fell in love with it. However, I'd like to put my own spin on it.

I'd like everyone's opinion/ ideas....

Well, I've looked at it closely and there's a bunch of angles that have to be matched on both sides. The good news is there might only need to be one template made for the L&R sides. Probably gonna go with 1/4" on the winch and mount plate then 1/8" plate for everything else with gussets. Definitely want to work a little more tubing into it than just the single main hoop. But I'm really looking for more ideas on that portion of it. We'll see, my boss said he'd help me build it with our twist and depending on how cost effective it is, he might want to incorporate it into his line. But that's totally something he gets to decide upon. I'm not against taking help from those with a lot more experience than I have with fabrication and my boss just happens to be one of those people. Little things that make life quite a bit easier when doing something likes. When he shows me how to do things at work, I try to be a sponge and soak up every thing he shares. Thanks for the feedback Mike.

Ya i would do a lil more tubing too and i also think you should have it rap around on the sides a lil too. Ya man learn as much as you can from him cuz then youll be the man that knows how to do it all. That bumper looks sick tho. if you need any help with it hit me up id like to help.
