I was just thinking about this recently. I'd be game some time after New Years since the holidays don't offer up much free time.

I'm interested if I'm in town. But I am considering going to Oregon for a week.

Yeah I'm on open diffs too. I think I've got a come-a-long laying around somewhere and I have rope and straps too. A friend of mine might be interested in coming along too, he has a Rubicon. I know, I know, Jeeps are gay, but it DOES have e-lockers front and rear so he could help pull us out of the snow until we have to pull him home when he blows his motor again.

I have a winch but no cable and my bumper to mount it in isn't built yet, so I guess that doesn't do anyone any good. I am also in open diffs and only 31" tires.

I wouldn't be opposed to Jeeps coming along, we do share a common interest after all. Plus it would be pretty funny watching them break something while trying to dis our rigs. "Buh, Toyota's are gutless rusty old pieces o- *SNAP* CLANK CLANK CLANK......what was that!? Dude can you tow me home?"

Either way, with enough ropes and shovels we can get out of anything. Someone with a winch would be nice though. That's definitely going near the top of my to do list now.

agreed. You can find winches on craigslist, but they usually know what they got so its worth just saving another 400 to get a new one

I went up and buried my Chevy off of Ashley Curtis Denny Creek yesterday. A winch would have been reel nice. I haven't got the toy stuck in the snow yet. Open diffs and 31's. FYI we spent along time with straps and shovels with little progress

Yes it is really made me consider a winch before gears and lockers. But still think those are more important than a winch. Although factor in a nice winch bumper and they price out about the same. Ish.
