Spacers

if i got say 1 inch spacers would i have to put any extensions on anything such as steering etc....

Speaking of 1" coil spacers, what's the pros/cons and what, if any, changes would one need to make to the rest of the vehicle if they were used...

if you mean suspension spacers, no you dont need to touch your steering. if you mean body spacers ( body lift blocks ) yes you would need to add an extension to the steering shaft if you do a 2in or greater, but for a 1in body lift i dont BELIEVE the steering stuff is needed

I know for 3rd gens at least, Roger Brown says you'll need a steering shaft extension even with just a 1" body lift.

The only thing you need to replace are your shocks. Just did a temporary 2" coil spring spacer on mine. Took two people, air tools, a spring compressor and about 30 min tops. CAUTION: If you do this yourself, the spring are under a lot of tension and could potentially knock out all your teeth or cave in your skull.
