Solid t-case mount

I’m looking around on the web for a solid tcase mount cause i don’t wanna fab one up, the trailgear one would work, but it’s got goofy bushings that you can’t replace, says it works on any 4wd 4cyl 86-95 runners and older pickups.

marlin crawler is made in america, has replaceable poly bushings, and to top it off is cheaper, but the website says it only fits gear driver transfer cases.

i have a 1990 4Runner that’s got a g58/chain transfer case. All the mounts I can find say they work with either t case and whether it’s auto or manual, which means it would work with a chain or gear driven t case. Except the marlin one. Has anyone tried using it? Doesn’t make sense the local parts house is the same part number for 22r from 86-95 if they were ever different. Even LCE sells a v6 one saying it’s stronger and would fit a 4cyl too. The marlin and the bombproof mounts look the same, and they all look the same as my stock one that needs replacing.

The Marlin page you linked to clearly states that their HD transfer case mount only fits RF1-A gear drive type cases. Not auto, V-6, or cases on G58 trannies.

As far as I know, all RF1-A case mounts are the same, and all chain case mountings are different.

What makes you think the Trail Gear mount would work???

No mount that fits RF1-A cases will work for your G58 case application says all the info I can find.

Please link to where LCE says their V-6 mount will fit a 4 cyl gear drive case.

think you need to read my post again cause I added the link to LCE and you misread some stuff/added stuff I didn’t say.

the yotamasters link clearly states it’ll fit any 4cylinder from 70-95, that’s why I think the trail gear one will fit.

I know that the VF-1 chain cases used on 3VZ five speed equipped machines use a different mount than RF1-A cases do.

There is no substantial dimensional difference between a HD TrailGear mount and a Marlin Crawler mount, only in the shape of the urethane bushings used in them.

If Marlin says their mount won't fit G58 applications, neither will the TrailGear one.

Please tell us what you find, and what you get to fit.

well ˟˟˟˟, by that logic the marlin one will fit cause the bombproof one doesn’t say it won’t. I’ll keep ya posted.
