AR767-5883. Don't quote me on the last four digits but I do know they are 4" backspacing.

The bulk of my SAS is complete now. I don't yet have shocks but it's driveable.

I still have to;

- install shocks
- lengthen front driveshaft
- tweak the steering
- possibly remove a leaf from the 44044s depending on sag and shackle angle
- install steering damper

...and I think that's it for the SAS and I get to actually go wheelin'

Chevies w/ custom front spring hangers made out of 3 1/2" box tube, a 2" lift block w/ 6 degree angle, 7" shackles and rear spring perches moved back 3" from stock. Rancho aal and overload are still in.

Gives me just over 5" lift.

Looks great!
I did my whole swap outside on a small driveway all by myself, no air tools either and this was my first time welding and torching, i tag weld everything and then my buddy came and reenforced the whole thing. is not as hard as people think, yeas it took me a whole month to finish but she is rolling now. IMO doing a TM lift or Procomp lift its harder that SAS.
later.

It was pricey. All told it was about 6K Canadian but that includes the 5 new MT/Rs and re-gearing to 5.29s which were the most expensive parts. A lot of the other expense comes with the driveshaft lengthening, Hy-steer and other details. I've heard of other guys doing SAS's for just over a grand.

good luck with yours!

Could you do me a really huge favor and snap a profile shot of you or someone next to your Runner. I really want to know all said and done what a 4" lift w/ 35s will look like. I'm in the process of getting my 85 in the air and the height is a big issue for me. If you would do that and it would help me out ALOT. Thanks in advance. your rig looks amazing by the way. Nice work.

I'll see what I've got! Truly though, my lift is about 5 1/2" all said.

you can have your springs de-arched if they ride too high instead of removing a leaf. If the springs are too stiff then go for it and just pull one out but if they ride good but sit too high then have 'em tweaked. The truck looks really good! Seems like all in all it's coming along fast. Keep up the good work and keep the pics coming! Is the new axle locked and geared and ready to roll?
