Flex shots.

Here are the flex shots taken after my BJ spacer and coil install.

Keep in mind both of my swaybars are still connected in these photos.
I'm expecting the rear coils to break-in more and then I can take the T-bars down a bit more to get better front travel. Also my rear shocks are really limiting droop... so that will get better when I get my longer shocks.

since I don't own a digital camera, I have to borrow one from work, which really limits the time and place I can take photos.. so both of these "posing spots" are right near my office.

For scale... my friend Mike is about 6'2" so the ledge is like 2'2" just so you know.

so yeah... not stellar flex, but I'm expecting it to get better as everything loosens up.... and maybe some disco's

SDORI Balljoint spacers and OME860 5.5" lift coils modifing a 4" superlift IFS kit.

the coils installed super easy.... the BJspacers took like 4 hours, lots of grinding the a-arm...

i don't see any spacers. he must have gotten different coils. my question is what coils did you get, since you have a 4" lift?

edit: ok so you answered my question as i was writing it. really 4 hours for the bj spacers? wowzers. it didn't take me more than an hour for each side if i remember correctly, and of course the second side is always easier.

They are Old Man Emu 860 land cruiser coils which = ~5.5" lift on a runner.

These are the coils allpro sells, but I got them from 4by4connection

Not too shabby Joel... Lose the sway bars! At least the rear. Hey, I'm thinking about running over to the Goat house and hitting up the RTI Friday afternoon if you want to roll over there. Give me a call or shoot me a pm.

Just FYI, but when installing the ball joint spacers, I suggest Harbor Freight's $20 4" cutoff wheel/grinder. It trims that lip off in minutes, goes through the metal like butter. Grinding takes a good long while for sure.

taking off the rear sway bar will help only one side. The other side is held up by the gas tank.

hey, you got any driveshaft vibration? i want your setup. was the front of the truck still sitting too low up front without the 1.5 BJ spacers? seems like the 4inch front and 5.5 inch back lift would even the truck out perfectly since it sags a intial 1 or so in the back. am i wrong?

No vibes, but I do have a high angle Double CV driveshaft.. so that helps.

about the sag... if I had just put the coils on with no BJ spacer, the front sits alot lower then the back..

brake lines and shocks came with the 4" superlift kit..

I have a panhard drop bracket that came with the kit... it's not long enough now though.

Hey, I originally had both the AllPro and Downey ones in there to make the rod parallel with the axle. I found out that it moved the axle too much to one side. I took out the Downey one. Now, it's not parrallel but the axle sits in the middle now.

You should keep an eye on the supperlift rear control arm bracket. I heard that they get bend a lot.
