CB mounts to TJM's
#2
Matt
do you have a t15 or t17? I am guessing you have a t17 because the 15 has a cb ant. bracket on the driver's side hoop. I would never mount a cb ant there though because it is way out there and would easily get snapped off.
Drilling into them is not a real big deal. It is just steel and can easily be fixed if you mess up or don't like the location of the hole.
4x4 connection does have arb/tjm antena mounts on their site though.

I was not aware that they all don't have that mount.
It doesn't seem like a good place for the antenna anyway. I know Bruce has broken off a few expensive firestix from having his up there.
The roof has worked out great for us.

I have the clamp-on mount from 4x4 Connection and have had no issues with it possibly breaking off while offroading. I added a spring and the antenna will bend almost 90 degrees. I ditched the thicker Firestick for a thinner model that works great. To aid in removing the antenna, I've also added a quick disconnect.
You can see it in the link below.

I got mine here:

(Bottom right of the page; I forget what size, but it's easy enough to figure out!)

I one have one tab for the CB, not like Rob and his spoiled self with TWO. I just drilled a hole in the bumper wing, it helped lower the antenna and helps hid all the cables just go for it.
