Props space. I just spent 2 hours reading this entire thread and I'm really impressed. I kno how hard it is to track down annoying problems. You've got skills man. Keep up the good work.

no, its not that im saving up and doing it at once... im just too lazy to do things as i get them... for instance i still have a complete set of door locks and new keys that i got from NIX99(DeathCougar) for really cheap... but i still havent installed them... so instead i get to unlock the passenger side first and reach across to unlock the drivers side since my side wont unlock with the key... at least THAT keeps the girlfriend happy that i always unlock her door first... lol... dont think shes figured out yet that im not doing it because i want to...

Thanks for the kind words... Im nowhere NEAR getting all the little problems sorted... still gotta figure out why the turn signals and emergency lights done work, find the short in my Hi-Beam harness, etc, etc...

Shes a work in progress... :sigh:

Went to the Toyota Scrapper today and picked up this little gem out of an '04... thank god its roughly the same shade of blue, so i dont have to paint it... its even got the cupholder! so no more setting sodas in between my seats and propping them up with CD cases and STILL having them fall over on me...

now i just gotta find the armrest part... thats gonna be hard to find one thats blue... its seems that all the trucks at the scrappers here are bench seat models...

only downside is that you cant put a big cup in the holder closest to the dash... but an arizona sweet tea can fits just fine, so im ok... also, i dont have the CB mounted yet, but i think there MIGHT be an interference problem there too with the mike cord... we shall see...

when you have a CB in the ash tray, that first cup holder becomes useless.

Last night i ordered 2 10,000LB D shackles from East Coast Gear Supply... also ordered 2 Daystar Dring isolators, and A Daystar Hilift Jack Handle Isolator... And just for grins, i ordered a neoprene Hilift Jack boot... Talked to Mak92 and hes going to sell me his bull bar hi-lift mounts, so that should basically take care of the frontal recovery... rear end i dug out my D-Shackle Hitch adapter, so the rear is set...

Have you tried the graphite lock lube on your door? That fixed mine when it was being a PITA. Did you do the paint on your fender?

i have a full set of door locks, ignition lock, and gas door lokc that i got from DeathCougar over at NIX99...

as for the fender, do you mean the multicolored one? or the one that has the crappy respray the PO did thats flaking?

the multicolored one is covered in stickers...

well, with the BSR, its kinda a catch 22... i mean with the problems the motor was having before, i cant really say if the BSR gave me more power or gave me more vibrations than stock, because ive never driven a stock tacoma...

i guess it does vibrate a little at idle ~750RPM, but its not that bad... i dont mind it...

yep! plans are to hit squaw ridge this weekend with the yotatech run... supposed to be somethin like 23 rigs? yea...

update... well, i was trying to get a winch before i went to Squaw Ridge, but the guy i was going to buy it from decided to bail on me after i had already driven 50 miles to go meet him... SMH... and this joker owns a business... dont deal with Rock Riders...

anyways, his price was 309 for the XRC8 after CA taxes and whatnot... plus add in about 30 bucks in gas ~$350... so, i said screw it and went on amazon.com and ordered up one... $299 with free shipping... sounds like a deal to me! dont think its gonna get here before the trip, but i can hope, eh?

Those blue shackles look pretty sweet man! Did they come like that or did you have to paint them?
