there is no sticker on the hood...
tonight got the old cb "ghetto wired" and wouldnt you know it, the damn thing is shot... all the lights come on, but there is no sound or no channel lights, etc... SMH... if i can get a new one before the trip, i might be doing some wiring at the campground the night before the wheeling starts...

had an awesome time this weekend on the 2nd Annual Squaw Ridge Run...
most of the trail was easy, but there were a couple difficult sections that really were not stock rig friendly... i hear that the trail was much more difficult than last year...
i escaped bypassing the HARD section (the bypass wasnt any easier) and overall didnt get much damage... a couple smacks on the front dif mount and the dif itself... also a couple hits on the xfer mount... anyways, im beat... here are some pics...

I know most guys wanting to spend a lil less end up with the ProComp-3000's.... 9000's for a bit more. I HATE the RS5000's I have in there... Might as well run BRICKS back there! lol(course, ....part of that is the Zuks)
I also know my buddy found some extended length KYB's that he loves! He's driving a Taco x-cab lifted a lil bit...
I think Roger at 4crawler did a write up on 'which shocks fit what lift in which cars' kinda thing. Seen one on 4x4wire.com one time as well. There's always billy's, but I guess it's a lil more difficult to find the proper length from them.
Depending on how much over stock you're gonna be, ...I guess there's always OMEmu.
PS> I'm running Edelbrock Sensitrack 4wd shocks for 2" lift up front... LOVE them!

Another buddy I have that goes through suspension stuff like a banshee basically finds whatever parts store is having the sale, then has them get his size compressed/extended/mounting stuff's through the sellers, whether it's Pro-Comp... and I think he got some Rancho 9000XL or some remote powered shock for WAY cheaper by getting buy 3 get 1 free. They have that a lot at O'Rielly and Pep Boys, ... not sure about Auto Zone.
Since you wheel a lot... might be worth it to compromise in the middle, right? I mean, OMEmus are around 220$ shipped for the fronts(for my truck... Not sure on yours) MAYBE a lil less for the pair of rears.... You can walk in and get a decent shock, I'm sure, Space.... ya know?

I think Fabtech makes shocks for the rear of yours, but they're for 3" lift kit.... Is your rig lifted, other than the Body Lift?
If I see a sale while I'm surfing, I'll just post it here, ya know? I found that 'shock length' page from 4crawler... but it's for 86-95 rigs(not Taco's, as far as I know).
happy hunting, man!
