to answer your question...

this thing is pretty solid... not too shabby welds, nice materials... its got a flange that is pure beef...

only thing i dont like about it is the fact that they didnt smooth any of the inside of the pipes... minimal grinding to clear slag, but theres metal lips and hangover lips inside... but heck, an hour of dremel work and itll be just fine...

Header is on... I now have massive exhaust leaks due to stupidity...
I'll fix them tomorrow hopefully... Also need to replace the windshield and get my ticket written off on that...

stupidity? we were missing bolts. itll be fine, go grab a bolt for the EGR pipe flange, and o2 sensor. and then while you're at autozone grab the 2 hole gasket and some washers. it'll be perfecto.

Stupidity because I should have thought it all out in advance... Like what parts I'd need and whatnot...

Its going to the shoP tomorrow to have that retarded flange welded together... And I'll pick up some bolts from the hardware store and fix that... My exhaust guy said that he'd put a new gasket between the cat and collector too...

Worse case scenario, Josh, it'll sound like an airplane, not a Lesbaru...

This truck is nothing but a headache...

X2. Call a LOCKSMITH.
Dealers don't know how to rekey things. Therefore, they don't know what can and can't be rekeyed.

BTW, sorry to hear on the key thing. The door keys in my bosses CRV took a dump, so we ended up at the dealer under warranty/recall, ........and they would have charged 380$ FOR THE FIX(So that we could still use the same keys for the doors) Those Honda Keys are weird, some kind of chip inside of them for anti-theft, ...but anyway, again, sorry to hear. Best wishes on that, and hope you're doing well, otherwise!

Thanks chef! It's so nice now that my truck doesn't sOund like an airplane...

And the new Toyota keys are the same way... Chip inside the plastic and a new KEY costs 150 from the dealer...

Yesterday I got the windshield replaced and my exhaust fixed... So quiet now... Just gotta get a muffler to make it noisy again, but in the good way...

im really upset right now, and im not mad at the truck. im mad at my exhaust guy... instead of welding the flange it REALLY wanted welded, he put a flat gasket in it... well, that gasket blew out on the way home from work tonight... soooo, im gonna take it back to him tomorrow before work and make him weld it like i originally wanted...
