Just ordered up a set of 315/75/16 (35X12.5) MTR Kevlars. Here are my wheel's they'll be mounted on. The wheels are 16X8 with 3.75 backspacing.

Whenever I get the tires mounted I'll start with the cutting.

LOL^^

My sliders were welded on without plating on the frame. I cut them off cause the other day the passenger side bent up and won't let the door open. I've got new legs and scab plates/ gussets waiting. I'll get to those after I get done with getting the tires fitted..

On another note, the tires get here tuesday.

I took a couple pictures for comparisons sake.

On a scale of negative 43 to positive 71... Bout negative 29.

Seriously though.. um maybe 5-8%

I don't know if its the rim or tire but one of them will go from 35PSI to 20PSI in ~48 hours. It won't be worth my time to even try to sell them.

Ohhhh okay, i was going to say if in person you had about 10% of life left on them, it would be nice if i could buy them so once i re=gear, lift and lock the front, i eould have some tires to drive on for the time between all of that, and purchasing new tires. But NVM!

Did i mention im excited for the 35's?

Why'd you decided to bump up to 16" wheels? Just a good deal on the wheels or planning a Tundra brake upgrade or something?

I don't think you can get the 35's MTR's in a 15

Scuba--those wheels are just itching to be blacked out

You can get MTR Kevlars in 35X12.5X15 from Tirerack.com, I almost bought some a few days ago.

X2 on the black!

The wheels were bought for 100 for all 5. I'd like to do tundra brakes in the future.

I was going to paint the wheels black but decided I like the look of a stock alloy better. So I painted them a Metallic aluminum as pictured.

TEASER! The pictures suck, its semi dark and has been raining/ overcast all damn day. But you get the idea. The second and third pics are not the same, but I can't decide which one looks better on the computer so...
And I only got two mounted up at the moment.. had to save some cash but I'm going to start the fitting and cutting tomorrow!

That thing is gonna be awesome on 35's
Looks like the front bumper wrap around might see the cut off wheel too.

I don't blame you about the black, sometimes I wonder if I should have left mine polished. Either way you got a deal on those rims. The tundra brake upgrade will almost be a must with those tires.

Yea Robb, the front and rear bumpers will get trimmed as well. It's all good, I knew what I was getting in to. And yes. Thats why I went with 16's. So I could do the tundra brakes
