Have a good safe Halloween, Scoob!

Haha my bad.
I have a relatively new clutch that is still holding strong.
Only problem I'm having with my trans is 3rd gear likes to grind. Need to change to a different gear oil without LS additive already in it

And i dont see where you messed up trimmin the fenders at all.
But im looking to get me one of those speed calibrator boxes,
Was it worth the money you paid for it?
Speedo Calibrator was worth every penny.
When I regeared I had a 20% difference. Meaning. For ever 100 actual miles my odo was counting 120. Not to mention, it was a pain in the ass having to use a GPS all the time to know actual speed. I don't know why I waited so long to buy that unit.

Do you have an electronic speedo on your truck? Because this box will not work with a cable driven speedometer.

Honestly? I've stopped taking cold medicines unless I just can't breath. Even then, I try Zicam, etc., before taking Robotussin, etc. That stuff is REALLY hard on your immune system, which you need. When you take Airborne or even some better ones, it LOADS you up with healthy bacteria and vitamins that serve in fighting the cold off. Also, when you're sick, your body sends EVERYTHING to fight it, ...including all your white blood cells, vitamin production, etc.... So you feel weak, etc., ya know? If you take something that aids in replacing those things, it can help fight it off quicker.

I've noticed that when I don't take Robo or the others, and I just load up on Vitamins and Airborne and JUST the needed, like Zicam if I can't breath,...I get well around 3 times faster! If it's a 24hr flu, etc., well, then it's just a waiting game, but it doesn't hurt to load up on things that the Flu rapes from your body, ya know?

I'll stay away from any non proven "deitary supplements." But thanks for the advice.

I stick with good old fashion vitamin C and D, Lots of fluids, and tylenol every 4-6 hours for fever as needed.

Im having the same problem with my 2nd gear, except mine has gotten to the point where if i dont hold pressure on it, it will actually pop out when i release the clutch.
Im guessing the 2nd gear syncros are gone, and this tranny has at least 250,000 miles on it believe it or not...
So i think im just going to bite the bullet and buy a new tranny in the next couple weeks or so.

I am lucky to have two trucks, the vast majority of members are not as fortunate as you to have been blessed with three trucks.

For a long time I had long sunday night wrenching sessions fixing a truck so I could get to work monday morning. Many members only have one truck that they wheel periodically and DD.

Scuba-hope you feel better, I have been fighting something for about 2 weeks now, haven't missed work yet but been close.
Trim job on the truck looks fine. IFS and 35's

Couldn't have said it better.

I'm lucky in a sense. My father is mildly disabled. Can't stand/ walk very long. So he doesn't get out much. His mint 99 4Runner doesn't get a lot of miles. In an emergency I am allowed to drive it to/ from work or school and do what I need to do. Otherwise, I drive my truck. I can't use his as a DD unless mine is down.
Hoping to get myself another DD in the near future.

Thanks for the well wishes Robb. Right back at you The trim doesn't look too bad anymore. But I'd still like to replace that fender someday.

Im in the same exact position,
My 94 is my DD as of right now,
(My 87 yota has no motor, trying to decide what im putting back in it, And my Z71 is having the rearend replaced)
But when something goes out on it like my timing chain cover oil leak last week, i borrow dad's 2WD 1996 4runner to make it back and forth to work and stuff like that.
Blessed is the perfect word.
I found some amazing deals on the trucks i have.

That's pretty much all that stuff is, Scoob. High Dose of vit's and echanasia(SP? Sorry, lol), etc. And, it's pretty well backed up by many doc's for working to have "all the things that your body is trying to dump in for fighting colds'... along with helping to get you over them, faster. Yeah, I don't think it's one of those "Hogwarts-wolf testes Fluid Weed" type stuff, lol.

Anyway, good idea on loading up on C and take in B-Complex, too(helps with the feeling weak). Stay away from too much dairy, etc., you know the drill, lol. FEEL BETTER SOON, BUD!

Changed my cat converter today..

Also finally got around to busting out my sheared off grease zerk on the drive shaft slip yoke.. Got lucky and it came out pretty easily.. After I grease it today I'll throw a bolt in it so I don't have to mess with a sheared grease zerk again..

Congratz, man.. Your rig is really coming along like the beast you've planned! lol..

Wheel wells look great, btw... Did you say you were gonna put something on the edges? Not saying it needs it, just curious, lol.

BIOTCHIN TRUCK, Scoob! NOW LUBE IT UP! lol. PS> You mean you're going to lube it and then plug it with a bolt?

Thanks Mark! Yeah I've got the edge liner sitting here waiting. I need to get some special paint for the edges before I do anything though. And I don't have the $ for that stuff ATM. That'll come in the next couple weeks..

Some of this stuff

Umm yea. I'm going to stick the grease zerk in.. lube it up, pull the zerk and put in a little bolt. Should work pretty well..

FWIW. It should be noted that your grease zerk is NPT meaning that it has a tapered thread. As such you should probably grab a pipe thread plug instead of a bolt so the threads don't get buggered.

Thanks. Never knew that. I have a regular bolt in there now. Seemed to thread in nice and easy..
I'll look for a pipe thread plug soon.
