I hope you're doing well, homie!

It is such a freaking trip to look at the first page, which I get taken to run away when I click on Open browser.... For some reason in this app I can hardly ever see any pictures. I have all 5 bars of WiFi lit up...not sure what the deal is. Anyway, looking at this picture, compared to the picture on the first page... Holy crap! Great work transforming this beauty! Let me know if you need a tailgate, I see them all the time and mint condition.

I've been trying to come up with an idea as to where to mount my 4 wheel drive emblem by Toyota..."4WD".... the inset portion is in blue, which I think they all were... I want to do mine in red and mount that thing! any ideas? Lol.
Hey Mark all is well here. I have problems seeing pics on the app too not sure what the problem is. Thanks for the props man, it nothing compared to the transformation your has went thru lately but I'm really happy with the old truck frustrating at times but it has been a really fun project.
I love all the early toyota emblems, I know the one your talking about, I've seen them fitted on several different trucks, surely there room on your tailgate somewhere that will look cool.

had a day at home but wasnt able to get much done. I opted to use 2 part epoxy to do the SATOSHI part of this project, it worked really well, I was able to file it down easily, and seems plenty strong. So I have that much done, I didnt get any pics of that but I did snap one of the filler going on.

Ive spent the last couple days getting a few things done on the runner.

finnished up the SATOSHI grill. I took some pics of how I fit everything together but I will have to post them later.

awhile back I mentioned needing to do somthing with my lower links in the rear. I decided to do the angle iron fix for now, I plan to build new links at some point but these needed fixed so I went this route to buy some time.

I also mentioned awhile back that the driver side rear seemed to be sitting lower than the passenger side, well Ive had a set of 80 series 9 wrap coils laying around for awhile so I decided to swap them in and see what that gave me. definatly more lift than the OME 890 but it sitts level side to side, I have a lot of forward rake now but a mod in the near future should help settle it down some.

I also pulled the rear diff so I could try and get it sealed up, its been leaking a little since I did the regear. busy couple days but Im pretty happy with the work I got done. thanks for checkin in.

You got a lot done! I missed somewhere that you put a fan in, a Taurus fan? Were you running too hot? Are you happy with it?
Will be watching for alluded-to future mod.

Hey hab thanks for checking in. If you want to go back a few pages and check out the here's and why's of the fan install, there are a couple other things I did at that time I would appreciate your opinion on.
Type condenced story on the fan I installed it just to help out at low speeds, on the trail etc. To be honest I haven't notice any difference in how the a/c works or anything, pusher fans are not very efficient when trying to push thru multiple cores, I'm going to try and rework the shroud and see if that helps.

Found your posts and it makes sense. I haven't had any temp issues with the 96 (except for the rad cap failures) even @107 degrees running low range all day (Utah) so haven't even thought of doing a fan. Just remembered seeing a lot of Ford Taurus fan additions (and removals...hmmm) some years back which is why I thought yours was one of those deals. I do make sure to hose out the radiator/condenser after any dusty/dirty conditions and sometimes just for the heck of it. I like your shroud idea, it'll be interesting what changes you decide on.

Hey hab, I was really hoping it would help with the a/c but like I said I didn't notice any big changes, its not hurting anything being on there and I have no intentions of eliminating the mech fan, maybe a little shrouding will help it push air thru the condensor we shall see.

Holy crapoli, that looks SICKKKK! My buddy is have that wench for nearly 5 years and use it for work almost everyday. He had to replace a brush kit or something like that because he uses it constantly... But the motor itself is fine. He treats the cable with something... I've never seen it with rust on it! Lol.... But still, my point is I think that's a good buy, man! Darn, I really really like that bumper on there! I can't wait for some pics from all angles in the daytime. Tell that sweet sister, Reggie, that I said hello, give my love, etc!

thanks mark, Ive read a lot of mixed revues on the BADLANDS winches but for the most part more good than bad, Im just hopeing for the best out of it. I will try and get some better pics tomorow if its not raining. If you look close at the one pic kinda from the side you will see that it looks like the bumper is sitting to high, Regina thought I had already done my 1 inch BL so she ordered it that way, guess whats next on the list lol.

I'm thinking she had some help on the specifics, but I'm gonna give her credit anyway.

I will get some better pics up when it decides to quit raining.
