not really much of an update, but a freebie that I have been wanting to do for awhile. I never have [as with most people] cared for the gold LIMITED emblems on my runner so I decided to remove them. awhile back I came across what I thought was a cool toyota emblem in the salvage yard so I grabed it, I decided to put it on the tailgate I think it fits the look of my truck much better, it looks more utilatarian.

I know its a really old mod but I also grabed a grill emblem to do my version of the satoshi grill mod. I havent done much to my runner just for looks and its kinda of nice to just change cheap stuff around because I thinks it looks better lol.

forgot to mention you can see my new to me CO2 tank in the pic, its going to be nice haveing compressed air on the trail.

Thanks mark, I liked the emblem thought it said all that needed said. The CO2 setup has a ways to go and I wasn't sure it was how I wanted to go but I was given 2 aluminum CO2 tanks so it kind of pushed me in that direction, I still need a regulator, hose, etc to make it complete.

Hey hab, still trying to figure out for sure how I want to do the grill mod, materials I want to use etc. I will definitely get some pics up as soon as I get moving on it.

Gutter guard and left over screws from the everything box!

Seriously, whatever you do I bet it'll look good. I am still trying to remember what somebody used instead of Bondo (for the actual Satoshi mod) that seemed like cool stuff. IIRC, some sort of plastic stuff that you used acetate to mold its shape.

I actually checked my local hardware store for Gutter gaurd, the only thing they had was plastic. I need to do a little shopping out of town. I should be able to get something going soon.

Went on a last minute wheeling trip sat. I will post up pics and video when I get back home. It was a fun trip, went with a bunch of guys I've never wheeled with before, all really nice guys even if a few of them did drive jeeps lol. I want to say the best part of the trip was the drive there and back home, its the first time since last november I've really got to drive my runner and I must it was a pleasure, around 150 mls of interstate up and down hills the benafits of the 4.88s really showed up. The new to me tires were great a bit noisy but no vibrations. It was just a nice ride and it feels great knowing that the old girl is road worthy again.

That's great news man! Aside from the ding, of course. Armor up her face there soon?

Nice trip, and I really want to someday soak up that wilderness in person. Gorgeous. Humid as heck, I'm sure, but definitely beautiful!

Have a good one, man, and give me a call!

Coming along nicely! You've gotta pick what you like and that does look good. I'm more plain Jane, but then, my favorite color is brown so what do I know?

That waterfall pic is awesome.

Thanks hab, I'm not sure which one I'm going to use, they are both in ruff shape and need some restoration but I like the small one the best, I do like the looks of the bigger one on other trucks so I've got that one if I decide to go that route

Thanks teuf, I'm really liking the old school emblem to, like I said I hope I can get it looking good so I can use it.

I agree with ya, second one! Looks great!

I hope you're doing well, homie!

It is such a freaking trip to look at the first page, which I get taken to run away when I click on Open browser.... For some reason in this app I can hardly ever see any pictures. I have all 5 bars of WiFi lit up...not sure what the deal is. Anyway, looking at this picture, compared to the picture on the first page... Holy crap! Great work transforming this beauty! Let me know if you need a tailgate, I see them all the time and mint condition.

I've been trying to come up with an idea as to where to mount my 4 wheel drive emblem by Toyota..."4WD".... the inset portion is in blue, which I think they all were... I want to do mine in red and mount that thing! any ideas? Lol.

If you like the size of the smaller (it is nice) but don't want the extra bit you could always fix that........
