havent done much if anything to the runner for awhile Ive been trying to get my 86 finished up and this one hasnt needed anything.
That said Im supposed to be going on wheeling trip next weekend and there are a few things I would like/need to get done so tomorow will probably be a busey day I will let yall know what I get done.

 

.... no one stopped by to pick me up for this wheeling extravaganza!! hahahhaa. JK, haha... Maybe someday we can all meet in the middle of the US, eh? hahaha.

 

Well dont feel to bad man, after posting that some things have come up and I'm not sure I'm gonna make this one. It is on my bucket list to make it out your way and do some wheeling with you buddy so don't give up hope.

yea meet in the middle like Southeast Missouri...LOL....or heck even southwest Missouri....

 

I gues that technacly is the middle of the country but it kinda puts mark at an unfair disadvantage.

 

well I wasnt sure If I was going to make the trip I had planned but everything has come together so I will be heading out in the morning, as usaul there were a bunch of things left to the last minute to get done "I've got to quit that" but with some last minute busting my tail I managed to get most of it done. I have wheeled this rig since I bought it with out the anti sway bars to get a little better flex and it has done great but honestly there has been more than a few time the pucker factor was a bit much, so for this trip I reinstalled the rear bar to see how it does. I also trimed the tail pipe back 1 because it looked goofy with the new bumper 2 it was just looking to get smashed shut between a rock and the frame. I also wanted to ad a couple constant hot 12 volt plugs the lack of any was just poor thinking on toyota part IMO.
One other thing I want to get done was ad some windsheild washer fluid wich I did but alas it did help lol, the front of my runner has been wrecked at some point Ive noticed a lot of things on the front that are not as they should be, any way I started checking things out and the wireing for the washer pump is not hooked up I hunted around and could not find a plug that matched so Im not sure if the pump is wrong the plug is wrong or I just didnt find the rite one any way that gives me a good Im bored oh yea the washer pump needs fixed project.

But a run on black bear would be about middle way correct....!!!! that is a drop on my bucket list!

Had a great weekend wheeling, the runner performed flawlesly. The place was beautiful miles and miles of trails. It was crazy hot like it is around the rest of the country but it was a great time. Didnt get a lot of pics or video but I will post up what I got asap. Thanks for checking in.

the place was beutiful mark, Ive been thru the area a million times but untill I got out into it I could have never imagined.

we had a blast terry, I didnt even think about that when I snaped that pic but it sure does.

hey dirtdobber like I said it was a great time. I dont think I did mention where we were going, its windrock mountain[coal creek ohv] theres a lot of cool vids from the place on youtube, Im trying to get some up myself.

 

I am DEFINITELY hitting the Angeles Crest/Back Side ASAP! Hopefully this weekend... But never know... people slap gig's on me last minute all the time.. Just the nature of the biz.... Plus I might be needed for the Grandbaby... BUT, if not, I'ma hit it! haha.>>>>

^^That's from the 2-Angeles Crest National Forest HWY... Toward the top, near Mt. Waterman.... Looking down in that Valley.. that's the North Side of the Angeles... Where I camp, right about dead Center of the pic/lil further down the hill from there maybe. Take that road you can kinda see to the right up to that spot for the day when back there... BEAUTIFUL... and I NEED IT! haha..

 

there are so mant beautiful places around you man, I dont know how you would ever pick a place to go. hope you catch a break and are able to get away from it all for a few.
