Nice! And, did the hubby have fun on the install?

Plumbing is not my favorite as there always seems to be little gotchas when dealing with existing stuff.

Sweet, all my dish washers grew up and moved away lol. Glad you got one and hope it works well. Being the maintenance guy at a 40 year old nurseing home ruined me on plumbing.

I don't think the husbandio had fun but he got the job done just fine and I didn't have to do that mess around in tight under the machine quarters.
Plumbing I can live without. It's either smelly or wet and leaky- or all three!

99 4Runner 170,000mi, I think.
Hubby stuck the rack bushing kit on.

The 96 feels way better with the new bushings.
I can't believe the junk bushings A1Cardone used on their rack I installed on the 96, that it would so completely wear out in such a short time. When I pulled the bushings they looked and felt about the same as the 99's originals and allowed the rack to move around even more than the 99's.

Thanks again guys, for all the help and input and letting me think out loud. You've really done a lot for me and I most appreciate it.

Yeah, but the '99 felt like it was still getting pushed around by wind yesterday, the rack bushings did nothing, NOTHING!

OK, well, it's possible the 40 mph wind gusts we had yesterday had something to do with that sensation.

Hi. Were y'all outside the latest storm belt? What's the next project for the '96?

Hi rworegon!
We were, thankfully. Mostly east of us with a little damage north.

Hmmm, next project... still gotta put those side turn signals in though I'm really happy with the ones in the markers. Can't have enough warning for the texters and talkers around here.

Also got something cool coming sometime in the next few months......

Another thing I'd like to finish is to make a front bumper bracket (I'd really like bumpers but that's out of my reach right now) to get rid of that nasty gap. Not fond of the gap.

Today I was just adding a 'vague table of contents' on post 2 so I could find stuff when I'm looking for it. Oh, and a newer pic to my intro.

How's it going for you? What are you up to besides helping everyone out here on Yotatech?

Oh, the suspense of a cool something. Glad you are safe in your parts.

Me....nursed a head cold all weekend and played way too many hours on here. Its enjoyable though. When the days get a bit longer I'll be back hiking, fishing, etc. and on here less.

I like the revisions in post 1 and 2. Nice work!

Thanks! I hear you about the more playing! Hope you feel better soon, head colds are rotten!

Wow, I think I yelled the entire post. I'm trying to be emphatic- and sympathetic.
Feel better.

LOL....I'm at 95+% now. Thanks.

My playing this time of the year is mostly downhill skiing and a little cross country on Mt. Hood, 'tis fun.

Should you really be thinking what I think you're thinking it is?

Hmmm, bumper not likely coming UPS, already has skid plate.... so locker, sliders, additional plates, lights, roof top tent ....... so many options that could bolt on in the cool category. Radiator and tranny cooler come to mind, but they are routine and certainly not cool. We await the arrival!

All is VERY good. I promise, I'm not expecting sleepless nights again until my kid hits his teens! Silly avi and his pot stirring. Some time ago he had me doing something with cast iron radiators and old school radios.

OK so I was wrong... but you led me on habsie!...

oregon radiators keep things cool so they could be considered cool...
except of course for the cast iron kind which keep things hot [or at least warm]...

as i recall hab the cast iron rads and old school radios were germain to the discussion at the time...
