I also removed the lower Toyota and old dealership emblem from the tailgate, they have been driving me crazy since I bought it!

Before

And after, much better!

You should like the flowmaster, I have had the same muffler on mine for 10 years now and like it. That is funny about the emblem, I don't think one has lasted more than a day on any vehicle of mine.

HOLY HELL - I just looked through 21 pages of sheer ecstasy!

Freakin awesome build! Your attention to detail is 2nd to none, the welds, wiring, proper fitment!

Not to mention the trailer build too! AMAZING!

thanks for the inspiration! I copied your build a little, made a few mods to make it work for me. i caged in one side so i was more like a basket. i tend to haul alot of stuff as well, so i added tie downs to the front of it where your hi-lift is, also, mine is removeable, its bolted in. heres a pic, hope its worthy!

If someone seriously started fabbing up some of those action packer carriers for the 1st gen roll bars. They'd make a killing, im sure. Im looking for a camping/storage solution that can still fit my subwoofer and that is pretty much the only way to go.

I would have made a few extra if I knew they where going to be so popular. The main issue is finding a way to have the rack bolt in without welding tabs to the roll-bar, most people with a welder would just build their own rack instead of buying one.

The MTR's are awesome on the trail, but I've been very disappointed in the MTR's when it comes to driving them on the street (on this truck). They don't balance well, or ride smooth, and they took a bunch of weight to balance; they pretty much remind me of a bias ply tire. I could rant for a while, but I'll take the high the road and say they just didn't work for me.

So I bought the BFG KM2's and I love them! They are so much smoother on the road; you can hear them and feel the lugs, but they are still the smoothest mud terrain tire I have ever owned. They also took a lot less weight to balance, and they are round, imagine that! It will be interesting to see how they work on the trail and in the deep snow, but I've heard good things and I'm not really worried!
