2001 crew cab DD/wheeler build (in progress)

Hey just picked me up a new to me trs taco the other day! Basically stock besides the 2" body lift, magnaflow exhaust, and k&n intake. Love the truck sti paying off the last bit but getting ready to build and want some advice for it. First thing for sure is gonna be a new deck and probably a cab or soft top for when I go snowboarding.

Well still working to pay it off completely, luckily college helps with all that hsd a false alarm with the MAF sensor and swapped in a new one for a new one and she's up and going. Gotta love K&N intakes when they dont get serviced! I got a 200$ credit from a family member at an auto shop thinking of ordering in a radio or just getting a general tune up.

Very clean truck! I'd love to have a double cab Taco. Just so practical.. As for ideas on the truck, I'm almost inclined to tell you to leave her stock because she's too pretty! But, if going through scuba's thread has told me anything, it's that those Tacomas can be put through some hardcore stuff. I'd say that's all the influence you need, hahaha.. Just read scuba's thread, and you'll see.

Its relatively clean, like most 13 year old trucks has a few dents, minor rust, etc. But she is great! I have loved the versatility of it. Seems likr wherever I post it that's what I hear. It may end up being a light wheeler/DD. They are extremely capable trucks! I'm actually working on filling my elk tag and its great for hauling me around and giving me no worries.

How is she for hauling people? Does it sit folks in the back comfortably?

Its great for hauling people around, coming from the extracab to this is a huge step up. Not as much leg room as the newer trucks, but way better than before.

Little late for this but went mudding about a month ago, and some new stickers.

Easily get the 2.5 in there, got 5 comfortable seats. Crew cab may have 5 but its a tight 5.

Just what it had when I bought it, didn't buy it for the lift just was the best deal I could get on one of these beauties. Thanks, hopefully when I'm not so busy with college the build can be more of a build and get some armor on her!

Hopefully getting one of these in soon (kenwood dpx500BT) so I can properly listen to music. Other mods may be more important for the trucks performance, but gotta be in the groove to go at 100%
