I got a 2001 Tundra 2wd, V6 (3.4) and now ALL OF THE SUDDEN she wants to slam into Drive and Reverse.

At a dead stop, you have to rev it to about 2500 and then it will SLAM into gear and go, it will shift just fine between gears and all is good.

Reverse is even scarier! it will slam multiple times, like 4 times in 30 ft.

Fluid level is fine. There is a slight whine in park, like a supercharger

I know mechanics but when it comes to transmissions, i am FN clueless! Is there a soleonid that controls torque convertor lock up?

Just filled up with fluid and drove to get codes- P0750 A solenoid, that will be ordered! But there is a grinding noise in first gear only. I wonder if that will go away with the solenoid replacement
