WOW! Nice board!!!

Finally I found the one that I have been looking for over past 5 years every since I got my 97 4runner SR5 4WD.

Nice boards!

I am sure I will check this every day and night. Wow!!! thank you everyone in this community.

I got so many things to ask you.. I am so so so excited!!!! Glad that I found this!!!!

Hehehe glad you found us! 97 SR5 4WD huh? Sounds familiar...? If you've got any ?'s I'm sure this board is the place to get them answered, and as far as mods go, We've got the experience and the empty wallets to show for them! Get some pics of your Runner asap.

Yeop! I will be gladly posting mine soon... Mine needs a lot, it is pure 97 SR5, no mod has been done. Now seems like I found my fellas to do it with... hhhhhhh...

hmmmmm........ where is my digital camera though?....Dang! My father took it to oversea trip!.... Gotta call my friend....

Hello

Howdy LV, I'm glad you stumbled upon our community here
Yes, you wallet will feel lighter after hanging out here for awhile.

There are some pretty cool mods you can do with the 3rd gens such as yours.

Check out our Tech section listed on the forums entrance page.
In there under "Performance", you will see some articles on how to do the "deck plate" mod.

That will open up your engines breathing and give you a few more ponies.
A lot on here too have gone with a custom cat back exhaust from their local exhaust shops.

Magnaflow, Dynomax, and Vortex are some of the more popular choices along with Flowmaster too.
