Wifes new 3rd Gen

Here it is. Got it a couple of weeks ago. Its a 97 limited. She is very excited about her new ride. We really dont have any plans for mods we will use the PU for wheelin'.

I love all black LTD Runners, good thing it's not going offroad the skids MIA, what happened to them?

Dave, isn't it a wonderful thing to add another Toy to the line-up in the garage. I love coming home to see the family and parking next to my dads Runner, which is next to the Celica, and the Previa van.

I like it. I also like the truck, but I don't think I'll ever warm up to those damn black wheels! No mods is understandable, but what about taking the running boards off... you can tell your wife it's a good way for her to stay flexible and is good exercise to crawl up there... And, when she'll be better off in the snow (it's bull˟˟˟˟˟ more or less, but they really do look so SWEET with the limited flares and no boards)

Great 4Runner! So your wife always gets the new toys....

Welcome to the whupped crowd!
But at least now we can do as we wish with "our" wheels. Leave the running boards on though. That way she doesn't have to get dirty climbing in and the sides don't get chipped as much. Keeps her happy and you won't have to fix paint chips as often.

The driveway looks much better now and she is very excited about being part of the yota family.

She digs the runningboards. They will stay on as long as its stays a pavement pounder.

She got the runner for our 16th aniversary. So I am a veteran of the "whupped crowd".

I used to get that look too, then I got her interested in modding her rig.
Now she understands...... And were broke!

Dave we are thinking about a trip the second weekend in April. I'll have to start a new thread about it.

Will if you get something going let me know ASAP, PM me if you have to. I need to know so I can take the time from work. I would love to go warm up a bit at URE before Tellico, and be on Jeremy's virgin run.
