So im guessing everyone out there has a truck that has a rattle...maybe a loose panel, dangling something....


I have an interior panel behind the drivers seat under the seatbelt bolt that has 2 snaped anchors....it rattles like a bastard...and im not sure how to fix it.

Lets hear some other rattles...


is ANYONE rattle free????

 

Double sided tape works great.

 

dash makes some nice noises, theres a ton of them but i haven't driven the truck in a few months, and it'll be another year or so before i get to :cry:

 

A nice loud CD unit does the trick

 

Boy dj, dont you think i should drive that once or twice a day for ya till you get back, to keep her "lubed" up?

ive got some stabilizer in there, have my mom start it a few times a week. it should probably get driven here soon. might have you do that. got a couple other guys who want to as well. just around the block a few times. i'll let you know though.. thanks.

I've had a rattle behind my gauges, drives me nuts I took the entire dash apart and found nothing, just made it worse and now I have a high pitched sweek to go along with my rattle.

 

Maverick i had the same sound.. found out it was a "dry speedo" cable... about $150 incl parts and lab.

 

I have an awful rattle in my driver's door panel that annoys me even on perfectly smooth roads, and my passenger seat's tracks are loose, and therefore rattles when no one is riding with me.

 

Actually i may fly me and my dad out for fathers day, we have lots of family down there, The live like less then an hour from all the big theme parks, right in the middle,

i dunno, ill have to find out the names of the town later, but if i do come down i may make a trip up to see ya, or you could come down and see the sights with us or something.
