Tailgate seal for 1st Gen

There is a large gap between the bottom of the tailgate and the body, there must of been a seal here a long time ago....anyone know what it looked like and where it mounted, pics?

With the tailgate closed, I can fit my fingers in the gap and see the ground.

Is that an after market rear bumper? Either way check your bumpers adjustment. May nee to adjust it up tighter.

No it wasn't. The bottom edge (the entire edge actually) of the factory SR5 carpeted panel had a nice edging, but that wasn't the seal. The seal was similar to a door seal and ran all the way arount the tailgate, from the top of one side down across the bottom and up to the top of the other side. (Has absolutely nothing to do with the bumper. ;-) Look more closely at Cabbages pics, down at the bottom of the pic see that the seal is not part of the panel.
