Dude, that is sweet. That is even my color 4Runner, which makes me want a very similar set-up as the vehicle pictured.
My question:
What is the benefit of relocating the spare tire to the bumper?
Is it just because it is too large (33 or something) to fit on the bottom?
I just dont see the benefit if that is not that case.

I think that's the same shop that I've heard people having problem with fitment of their front bumpers on the pre-Taco trucks (pre-94). You might try searchng on pirate for info on that (I think it was posted there). I heard it from a guy I wheeled with once who had the problem. Basically the shop did a crappy job and wouldn't refund the guy his money, all they gave him was store credit minus a "restocking fee."

fattycbr,
i know among the xterra community there were some fitting problems among mail ordered bumpers but all those that took the vehicle there and had it built on the vehicle absolutely loved them. since i brought this company to the 4runner community's attention last summer 2 people have had them built and both love them as far as i know. fitting shouldn't be a problem in this case as he is local. i will get one done one day, i am going to try to get most of the stuff i want done at the same time since the wheels, tires, lift, and rear bumper all kinda go hand in hand.
by the way, you ride correct? do you know anyone looking for a 2000 929?
