They may but I don't know where it would be. That's why I mentioned checking in a service manual to see if they've got an easy adjustment for the fluid pressure solenoid on the newer trucks.

Well, to be honest, I kind of stumbled across this mod about 1 1/2 - 2 years ago when I installed my K&N FIPK and Power Toilet(as someone called it) spacer on my 2000. I adjusted that shift cable and definitely noticed the firmer shifts. It's been shifting firm for about 20,000 miles with no problems. But, I don't have it adjusted all the way as someone mentioned. Probably only about half that much. I like the way it shifts but was concerned that it was hurting something. I guess this whole thread tells me that it is ok. I know that most of you probably won't believe me, but you can ask FattyCBR becasue I had PM'd him about this over on ODW before this board even existed. I had asked him about the cables and about the tranny shifting firmer. Well, good luck with the mod.

Haha I remember that Joey, I think I still have that PM actually. I'm glad to hear that your tranny is still holding up after 20k, somehow I find it hard to believe that there is no down side to this mod.
