As requested, a few pics of my new exhaust

I had been asked to post a couple of pics of my new exhaust. I am really liking this mod. Don't laugh, but I've been riding aroung with the passenger side rear window down, just so I can hear how it changes at different speeds.

As I mentioned before, the muffler is an Xcelerator-brand, and is very similar to the Magnoflow. Thanks for letting me share...

Cheers!

Looking good there.

Shhhhhhhhhh, don't tell anyone, but I still like to drive with the tunes turned down quite often so I can listen to my exhaust entertain me instead

Thanks for the compliments, everyone.

CPW, I must admit, I had it done at a shop.

Performance wise, it is really nice, seems to accellerate with less effort. My wife could even tell it felt "more zippy" to use her words. Sound wise, its really not insanely loud, but you can hear it coming a few houses away. The tone is actually very similar to Corey's magnaflow, but also similar to the Jardine clip that he has. When you are in the cab driving, you can hear it but it doesn't resonate in the whole cab, you just hear a rumble. But once you get above 3000 or so RPMs, the engine and intake noise drown out the exhaust note. I'm pretty happy with it. I am convinced that the combination of the deckplate, intake silencor removal and a free-flowing exhaust are really worth it as far as performance per dollar are concerned.

Bah. You see one exhaust stytem, you've seen them all.

How's that for a show of support Jayson? J/K

It looks really nice! Way to go.

We all drive around with our windows down, you know. We need to start a support group. Wait, this forum has all the characteristics of one. Too Late!

Hi Tom-

Its just one of the brands that the shop I went to happened to carry. Its an almost identicle clone of the magnaflow.

Dr Z- you are one funny guy... J/K.

Ahh, OK, thanks. I did a quick search online for that brand but didn't see anything, so I thought I'd just ask. I'll probably find more if I lok a little longer.

Looks great BTW!

Haha! A 12 step program for people who like to listen to their exhaust....

"Hello. My name is Alan. I have been known from time to time to roll down my rear passenger windows and my rear sliding window just so I can hear my TRD exhaust. I also rev my engine in tunnels and under over-passes to hear it rumble. I'm so ashamed. STOP LOOKING AT ME!"

Well, maybe not.

Glad you like your muffler--I am having an Xcelerator brand muffler and 3" exhaust installed on my Supra tomorrow. We'll see how it goes...
