Painted my alloys black

... And I kinda miss them as polished. Also, I have just finally taken the TRD Stickers off. Its too bad cause I miss the extra 10hp gain.

Oh well.

Before (Only pic I have)

AFTER

Testing them in the sand

What I did:
1) Used a wire wheel on a drill for a good 10 minutes, and scuffed them up real good. Areas I couldn't reach, I used 320 sand paper.
2) Rubbed clean with acetone
3) Used the playing card technique to mask off the tire (Look it up, its easy)
4) Sprayed dupli-color self etching primer
5) About 4 coats of Krylon flat black

A closeup picture always say that your paint job is a good one.

Ah, very nice. I like the black a lot more than the chrome!

Thanks dude, nah I didn't build it, it's from a local shop, Perkins Performance. Jason (Perkins) has built a few more for guys here on YT, his work is damn good.
